Staying at the Davenport Hotel in Spokane was a real treat and I would recommend it to anyone visiting if it’s in your budget-it’s Spokane’s only AAA four Diamond hotel.  Everything was first class all the way, right down to the doorman.  Because I was there as part of a meeting planning conference, we were given a tour of the beautifully restored hotel and ballrooms with their hand painted frescoes.  It was as magnificent as the history of the hotel itself and I felt very privileged to have stayed.
