A wonderful long weekend spent at The Don Cesar Resort & Spa (aka “The Pink Palace”) on St. Pete beach was such a treat. I love Loews properties anyway, but this is probably one of the nicest boutique resorts I’ve ever been to. Upscale but not too out of reach and very family friendly. The pool area was clean, plenty of lounge chairs and within a quick walk across the beach to the warm waters of the gulf.  The rooms were bright and decorated in a beach cottage blue and yellow.  An excellent restaurant on site and a couple very close by, a retro ice cream parlor, shops in the lower level, and massages on the beach…..what’s not to love!
