The only meal we made reservations for prior to our trip was at The Pink Door.  I was given a recommendation by a fellow meeting planner that this was a must during our visit.  What makes the restaurant most interesting and intriguing is that there is no sign at all.  Almost like a speakeasy, the only way to find it is by the signature “pink door”.  Once inside, it’s more like a cabaret show with trapeze artists performing overhead (although the night we were there we were too early for the show).  The atmosphere is eclectic and intimate, the decor whimsical but classy,  and the food absolutely delicious. The menu offers  Italian American fare with some very creative pasta and seafood dishes.  Definitely the best meal of the trip and I’d highly recommend going.  I’d also recommend making reservations as far in advance as possible and looking up the entertainment and show times on the internet so you can base your reservation around that.
