Dublin Castle doesn’t really look like much of a castle when compared with others in Ireland and the colorful add-on buildings seem a little out of place. That coupled with the fact that it appears to sit in an industrial type neighborhood doesn’t really do it any justice. But the tour inside is well worth the 4.50 Euro and gives a lot of information into the castles’ history. The garden is also lovely and a nice place to sit for a bit and people watch.
