This was a whirlwind long weekend motorcycle trip we took with neighbors. And, while I could have easily blogged about each city in Door County independently (Fish Creek, Baileys Harbor, etc.), they all seem a bit of a blur even though I know we visited them all and each one was cuter than the last. We rented a log cabin on the lake through vrbo and that was the way to go for us.  The cabin was absolutely beautiful and was a great base – not to mention the amazing sunsets we saw from the bay just a short walk away. We planned on riding mostly, doing some wine tasting, a picnic and nothing more than that. The weekend was everything we had hoped for and more….we even put the motorcycles on the ferry and went to Washington Island. The highlight for me though was Cave Point Park and the walk along the bluffs overlooking Lake Michigan.  You can’t go wrong with a trip to Door County–Just beautiful!
