This was one thing we signed up for well in advance of our trip and gratefully so. Eli Fuller, owner and operator of Eli’s Eco-Tour and Adventure Antigua, has spent his life roaming these waters and his eco-tour is his way of passing along his knowledge and appreciation of the area. It most certainly has paid off for him as this is probably the most popular thing to do and well worth the $$. With stops and a climb at Hell’s Gate, a great lunch while moored off the shore of the breathtaking Bird Island, and plenty of opportunities for snorkeling, this was a full day of adventure while also learning about the history and topography of Antigua. Fresh fruit juices, water and cookies are available during the entire trip. I would highly recommend a day out with Eli’s group to anyone but be sure to book months before you go.
