Even though I have already listed the Eiffel Tower, this is a totally different and amazing experience that I would recommend to anyone visiting Paris. And, although there is a limited menu, the food was fresh and delicious but the real treat was the unbeatable view of the city. 111. Arc de Triomphe – Paris, France
This was actually my second trip to Paris and the Arc de Triomphe. The first time in 2002, I actually did climb the 284 steps to the top for a great view of the city. Due to time constraints and a dinner reservation at The Eiffel Tower, we did not go up on this trip. If you have it in you…definitely take the climb!
110. The Champs Elysees – Paris, France
We walked up and down the Champs-Elysees and although we didn’t shop (who could afford anything), it was a great place to people watch and I can check it off of my bucket list.
109. The Louvre – Paris, France
We didn’t have the time to go inside but found the outside beautiful and bustling with locals as well as tourists. We sat and rested for a bit, took some photos and then headed off for our whirlwind day in Paris.

On a whirlwind 24 hours in Paris, we tried to cram in all of the most visited stops. Paris’ iconic Eiffel Tower was obviously on the top of the list.
