This was our first stop in Arizona after 5 days in Utah. It wasn’t really on our agenda but we saw the sign, needed a break from riding all morning and decided to take advantage of the opportunity to stretch our legs while taking in some scenery. The 1-mile round-trip trail is nicely paved and surrounded by beautiful landscaping. It ends at an overlook of the Betatakin ruins across the 560-foot-deep Betatakin Canyon. While not as impressive as some of the sights we had recently seen, the walk was just what the doctor ordered and we were glad we had stopped.
